His explosive sets, and ability to cater to any audience has made Akib one of the most sought after DJ’s nationwide. He has performed for some top celebrities such as Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, Tiesto, Far East Movement, and Twista.

Over the past couple years DJ Akib has expanded his talents to the Fashion Show Industry.  Akib has a packed schedule of chic Runway events in Chicago and New York. He has worked events for top companies like Pepsi, Macy’s, Nordstrom, MARS, Red Bull, Nike, Chevrolet, Kia, AT&T, STK, and many more. He has done exclusive parties for the Peninsula Hotel, various Congressmen, and celebs across the globe.

“No two events are the same, you have to look at each and every crowd differently, and play for the people!” is the motto Akib lives by. He currently resides in Chicago, IL and does a wide variety of club, corporate, and fashion events around the country.
